Who is it for?
Pharmacy graduates (minimum 2.2 entry level) wanting to join the practicing register of the RPSGB and for people who have successfully completed their OSPAP (Overseas Pharmacist Assessment Programme).
What is the programme?
Our well-tested, successful programme and team of Pre-Registration tutors are dedicated to helping you bridge the transition between being a successful pharmacy graduate and becoming a practicing pharmacist.
Our approach is to offer considerable learning flexibility within a training programme framework with some set elements. We do this as you need to foster the self discipline and skills to manage your own development and continue life long learning.
We include dedicated learning time and a suite of off the job courses.
Key skills covered to different depths in our programme include communication and consultation skills, running professional services, developing effective professional judgement, risk management and medicine management.
Our programme is also designed to compliment the new NHS Education for Scotland PRPS training programme.
What happens after the programme?
Hopefully you will decide to stay with us, once you are qualified to develop your career. We have many success stories of people who have moved on after registration to become successful Pharmacists, Pharmacy Managers, Area Managers and other senior roles within the Company.
